The world is in a transition to a healthy planet and fair society. However, people and institutions that want to accelerate this shift are often stranded in the clutter of sustainability certifications and labels. We are facing an overload of complex information and regulations. That makes it challenging to understand, measure and manage your (and your supply chain’s) sustainability performance.
The Global Sustainable Enterprise System (GSES) is one holistic, verified and accredited standard and platform for sustainability. Our system easily, and cost-effectively aligns over 550 ecolabels and sustainable certificates and uses worldwide accepted standards to holistically measure sustainability performance.
The GSES Score combines all your sustainability certifications and labels into one verified asset. Whether it is about your products, projects or organisation.
The GSES platform is the gateway to assessments and support to improve your sustainability rating. Invite your stakeholders & suppliers and create the ultimate supply chain management tool.
The powerful tech that creates the system, turns the sustainable performance and governance of your organization and products from a complex burden, into an opportunity. And helping to change the system, into the planet and society we truly need.
The GSES Score is based on the GSES System, which aligns more than 550 certifications and labels based on international accepted guidelines and standards. This means the GSES Score represents all kinds of available certifications and labels, translated into one global standard. A breakdown of the GSES Score in shown in the Scorecard. Your verified ‘sustainability business card’, that showcases your sustainability rating to your stakeholders! The Scorecard is published in the GSES database, the world’s only sustainability database that relies on independently verified data.
Before your assessment results can be shared on your Scorecard, they need to be verified. You can request independent verifications and audits to prove that your results are based on accurate sustainability claims. An independent auditor of an official certification institution
will inspect your claims based on the content of the uploaded evidence (Desk Audit), or by physically performing an on-site inspection (External Audit). You will be certified by partner institutions such as KIWA, Control Union, TMS, UCSL, Audit Independent, and more. Get your
sustainability claims verified and gain recognition for your sustainable efforts!
With none to a few certifications at hand, you can also simply measure your sustainability performance using GSES assessments. Organizations will be assessed using the blocks of the GSES Score, which measures performance based on your Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainable Procurement, Co² Reduction, Circular Economy, Health & Safety, and Biodiversity. Products will be assessed using the Sustainable Footprint Standard, which indicates performance based on the Circular Footprint, Health Footprint, and Environmental Footprint. Your assessment results highlight improvement points and are safely stored in your private virtual safe until you are ready to apply for official verification or certification.
You can easily store your sustainability performance results, sustainable evidence documents, and certificates in your virtual safe while they are being submitted for audit to independent verification institutes. The virtual safe is hosted independently from GSES, meaning only you have access to your data guaranteeing secure storage.
Using the procurement dashboard feature, you can compare organizations and suppliers based on their sustainability performance. In this way, you can easily practice sustainable & responsible purchasing. There are no longer uncertainties and risks regarding the impact of your purchasing on the environment or regarding social responsibility. With our easy-to-use filter options, it has never been easier to find and compare potential business partners who meet your sustainability requirements.
As an organization, you can invite your stakeholders and suppliers to be assessed on the GSES Platform. In this way, you can encourage them to become (more) sustainable and follow your sustainability policies. It has never been easier to ensure that your supply chain is transparent and aligned with your sustainability policy. Perform an RFP or Tender request with the GSES invite feature!
