Your Role as Onboarding and Support Staff

As part of the Onboarding and Support team, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. You will guide new users to successfully implement our platform and provide support with any questions or challenges. Your goal is to ensure our customers have a seamless experience and can fully leverage our tools.

What You Will Do

– Onboarding: Guide new clients step by step through the implementation of our system.
– Support: Provide technical and functional assistance via phone, email, and chat.
– Training: Organize training sessions and workshops to familiarize clients with our platform.
– Problem-Solving: Identify and report areas for improvement in the system’s usage.
– Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and development teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

What You Bring

– A minimum of a vocational or bachelor’s degree (preferably in a relevant field).
– Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
– Affinity for sustainability and/or technology.
– Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
– Experience in onboarding or customer service is a plus.

About Global Sustainable Enterprise System (GSES)
GSES is a software (SaaS) solution enabling organisations to measure, compare and verify their sustainability performance. Based on international (ISO) frameworks, we have developed an overarching metastandard that is able to rate the full spectrum of sustainability. We are a scale-up with an office in the vibrant city centre of Rotterdam (Weena 70), residing in a completely refurbished office building.

Your Role
As a vital member of our Research & Development team, you will:
– Conduct research, mapping, and benchmarking on sustainability laws (e.g. CSRD, EUDR, CSDDD), and regulations, international frameworks (e.g. ISO) and Ecolabels
– Assist in the development and maintenance of a Material Index with LCA impact data
– Assist in the maintenance of our Carbon Calculator tool, including emission factor data
– Collaborate on exciting sustainability projects, helping clients measure and improve their events, suppliers, products and organizational sustainability.
– Support innovation and implementation of sustainability solutions across industries.

Your Profile
– Experience: 3+ years of relevant work experience.
– Knowledge: We are looking for a candidate with experience in one of the following areas: QHSA, audit (preparation) experience on for example ISO or specific Ecolabels, relevant legislation knowledge (CSRD, EUDR, CSDDD, etc.), experience with Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and/or carbon emissions.
– Skills:
– Highly organized, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
– Analytical mindset
– Exceptional attention to detail
– Proactive approach and
– Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
– Fluent in English and Dutch with good communication skills
Passion: Genuine enthusiasm for sustainability and driving positive environmental impact.
