When making purchases, Univé considers the sustainability ratings of its suppliers. The initiative began in 2020 with the introduction of the Global Sustainable Enterprise System (GSES), which serves as a tool to evaluate our sustainable practices, supply chains, and investments, both for us and our suppliers. Building on this, additional progress was made in 2022. Currently, sustainability assessments have been completed for approximately 80% of our suppliers. We are actively engaging in conversations with our suppliers regarding sustainability, and our aim is for all our business operations to become fully circular by 2040, exclusively partnering with suppliers who are climate-neutral.
