4tecx
4TECX
Driving transparency in product sustainability.
Zevij-Necomij is strengthening its sustainability approach and supply chain collaboration by using the Global Sustainable Enterprise System (GSES) to measure, verify, and report sustainability performance across all its products – giving Zevij-Necomij and its suppliers clear, data-driven, and independently verified insight into their products’ sustainability performance.

Progress to date
What is expected from suppliers
The initiative launched in 2025, with 34 suppliers actively providing information and almost 1,000 products audited and scored using the NIS method. For this phase, the goal is to collect data for the remaining products in the 4tecx range.
GSES is the platform used to collect, verify, and score this sustainability data. For more on how it works, click the button below.
The main goal of this project is to collect and verify product sustainability data for all products within the 4tecx line.
GSES will explain the data requirements and collection method to suppliers at a later stage.
To get started, refer to the steps below. For this phase, as a supplier you might find yourself in one of 3 scenarios.
↔ Swipe or use the arrows to move between the three scenarios
This is the first time you are hearing about this project and GSES
In this scenario, the first step is to register your user account and organisation on the GSES platform. This account gives you access to the environment where all 4tecx product data is collected, and it is the starting point for everything that follows in this project.
After this is done, the GSES team will then reach out to schedule your onboarding workshop.
You have worked with GSES before or are currently in contact with them regarding other projects and/or data requests
It is important to note that this is a standalone project initiated by Zevij-Necomij for the collection of 4tecx sustainability data.
If you are already a GSES member, and/or are already registered on the GSES platform, you can skip this step and send an email to [email protected], and the GSES team will provide further guidance.
You have submitted data for Phase 1 of the 4tecx project in 2025
Welcome back! We appreciate your efforts during Phase 1. If you are included in this year’s mailing list, there may still be products for which you need to provide data.
This year, we have a new data collection system in place that makes it easier and more user-friendly for you to provide the necessary data. For this, you need a user account and organisation on the GSES platform, which is fully funded by Zevij-Necomij for the sake of this project.
Once you are registered or reach out to the GSES support email, GSES can give you information specific to your situation, with exact EANs, and further instructions.
How to do it!
Submit product information
This process ensures a balance between ease of participation and data credibility.
FAQ
All suppliers of all products in Zevij-Necomij’s 4tecx line are asked to share these products’ sustainability information with Zevij-Necomij through the GSES platform.
Participation is not enforced, however it is highly encouraged and appreciated in order for Zevij-Necomij to meet their sustainability goals.
The costs for this project are zero, all the suppliers’ membership fees and participation on the platform are fully covered by Zevij-Necomij to encourage participation. This is limited to the audit of only products in the 4tecx range, however as a supplier if you are interested in a GSES membership for your own needs, please contact [email protected] and we’d be happy to provide you with all the necessary information.
Your first step is to register your user and organization on the GSES platform:
You can submit data via the platform, where you will receive a request from Zevij-Necomij to submit data for each specific product you supply to the 4tecx line. Exact instructions on how to do this will be given to you during your workshop with GSES.
Only Zevij-Necomij will have access to your product data. Additionally, you have the option to hide your Bill of Materials from Zevij-Necomij, so the only information they have access to is the sustainability information generated by the Bill of Materials, and the other uploaded evidence.
Yes, although, having an LCA means you do not need a Bill of Materials. You can submit your LCA values in order to calculate a score that is more specific and accurate to your product than the Bill of Materials method. The method of providing this information will be shown to you in the workshop.
The scope of the Nature Impact Score is Cradle to Gate as standard. If you supply additional data and evidence for the gate to market transport, this scope can be increased and lead to a better score.
For building products, the GSES platform also allows you to add use phase and end-of-life data, which is visualised on the product score card, though not included in the score.
After you have finished uploading the data and submitting it to Zevij-Necomij, your work is done. Zevij-Necomij then submits the products for an audit through GSES partner Audit Independer.
Audit Independer subsequently assigns the audit to an accredited conformity
While submitting data, you have the option to save a draft and revisit the submission request again as many times as you want. If you have already submitted the data, and need to change the data after this point, you can reach out to [email protected], or submit a ticket directly on the platform. After which, we can resend you the data request for you to edit the data as you see fit.
Please make sure to flag this in good time, as once the data reaches the Auditor, changing it is not easily done anymore.

AVEX
AVEX International
Sustainable cooperation with measurable results
AVEX is taking an important step in its sustainability strategy by using GSES to gain greater oversight of its supply chain.
Sustainability that is measurable and transparent
At AVEX, we are committed to smart and sustainable AV solutions on a daily basis. Sustainability is not a non-binding promise for us. That’s why we make it easier for our customers and partners to make sustainable choices. By joining the Global Sustainable Enterprise System (GSES), we ensure transparency in our sustainability performance.

About GSES
Why AVEX chooses GSES
The GSES platform is a universal, sector-agnostic solution for measuring, rating, and verifying sustainability performance across sustainability themes and scopes.
With a holistic approach, the platform covers sustainability on every front – from organization to supply chain, products, and physical assets – while aiding in compliance with key legislation such as CSRD, EUDR, and DPP.
All data on the GSES platform is verified by independent third parties, such as accredited certification bodies. This verification process is central to our mission: it prevents greenwashing and ensures fair, transparent, and comparable sustainability performance across organizations.
GSES offers a SaaS solution used by many organizations across various markets to collect, validate, and communicate sustainability data at both product and company levels.
The platform also provides practical tools that enable AVEX to actively and structurally involve suppliers in its sustainability approach, helping to strengthen engagement and transparency throughout the AVEX supply chain.
Through the use of GSES, AVEX records its sustainability data, monitors progress over time, and encourages suppliers to share reliable sustainability information about their products, supporting continuous improvement and responsible collaboration across the entire ecosystem.
Have you been referred to GSES through AVEX and still have practical questions about how the GSES platform works?
Book a free demo and see it in action.
What does AVEX ask of my organization?
Avex asks that you enter sustainability information about your organization into the GSES platform in order to have it independently validated for the following components:
To start, upload all your certificates onto the GSES platform to receive a baseline measure of your sustainability performance. Examples of certificates include: ISOs, CO2 Performance Ladder, CSR Performance Ladder, and Ecovadis

CSR
Corporate Social Responsibility
CO₂
CO2 Reduction
CE
Circular Economy
SP
Sustainable Procurement
You can complete the assessments and have your certificates independently validated by a certifying body directly via the platform.
Participation in this process requires a Pro Membership, which includes verification of the four requested pillar assessments (certificate validations are not included).
GSES provides full support during onboarding and data submission. If you need any help, our support team is available at [email protected].

How to do it!
Register on the GSES Platform
FAQ
- Data ownership remains with your organization. GSES only processes the data and does not claim ownership.
- Certificates (e.g. ISO, CO₂ Performance Ladder) are uploaded by you and validated by an independent certifying body.
- Certificates cannot be downloaded by others and are only visible in summary form (logo, status, validity).
- Assessment answers are verified and shown on your scorecard; answers cannot be edited after submission.
- Burden of proof (e.g. internal documents) is stored in a Virtual Safe and only accessible to you and the auditor. The documents are not visible on your scorecard.
- You control scorecard visibility: set your ESG Scorecard to Public (visible to all) or Private (only visible to you).
- If scorecard visiblity is set to private, other GSES members can still request access to view your scores; you will recieve a notification and can accept or decline the request.
Joining GSES is highly encouraged. AVEX is placing increasing emphasis on sustainability and transparency across its supply chain. By sharing your sustainability data via the GSES platform, your organization shows commitment to future-proof, responsible business. It helps strengthen your position as a preferred supplier and ensures you’re aligned with AVEX’s long-term goals.
To share the required sustainability data with AVEX, your organization needs a GSES Pro Membership. This enables you to create and share an ESG scorecard, manage certificates, track CO2 emissions, and collaborate with up to 5 colleagues. You can upload existing certificates and complete assessments, which are then independently validated through the GSES platform.
AVEX suppliers receive a discounted GSES Pro Membership based on annual turnover:
- €1,900/year (turnover €0–10M)
- €2,500/year (turnover €10–100M)
- €3,700/year (turnover >€100M)
This includes access to the organizational module and 4 desk audits per year for the required GSES pillars. The contract has a duration of 3 three years.
All prices are excl. VAT.
The largest time commitment for your organization is in qualitatively answering the assessments and collecting the underlying documents that serve as evidence. Below is an overview of the processing times.
Time commitment and lead time:
- Create an account: 2 minutes for you as a user (name & email address) to register your organization.
- Uploading certificates and requesting validation: up to 5 minutes.
Lead time of independent audit by certifying body:
- Validation of 1st line certificate: 2 working days.
- Validation 2nd-line certificate: up to 10 working days.
- Verification of Assessments by means of a desk audit: 10 – 15 working days.
You may need various colleagues to fill in the assessment, this can differ per organization but also per GSES Pillar. Oftentimes, colleagues from a sustainability team or the contract and procurement team have the required information. You can give up to 5 colleagues access to your organization’s online environment.
Data ownership and accessibility.
- The information you provide remains the property of your organization. GSES will only have the right to process the data, without transferring ownership rights.
- You always have full access to your organization’s own information and can view it.
- Important: After submitting an assessment, you cannot edit your answers anymore.
Processing and visibility of certificates (ISO, CO2 Performance Ladder, Ecovadis, etc.)
- Certificates are uploaded by you and forwarded to an independent certifying body for validation.
- You can always view and/or delete your organization’s certificates.
- The scorecard will display the certificate’s logo, including its validation status and validity.
- The score report states whether a certificate contributes to your score. The certificate itself cannot be downloaded by others.
Processing, visibility of assessments, and burden of proof
- When filling in a questionnaire, the following elements are recorded:
- Answer: multiple-choice options from the GSES Standard
- Context: explanation for the auditor
- Burden of proof: internal documents as burden of proof
How is this processed and visible?
- The answer will be visible on the scorecard after verification.
- The burden of proof is stored in a secure safe. Only your organization and the auditor have access to this. This is not visible on the scorecard.
Visibility and scoring management
- You decide who can view your scorecard: Public (visible to everyone) or Private (visible only to you).
- Even with a private setup, customers can link you as a supplier, but they won’t see scores.
- Does another GSES Member want to see your scores? They can send a Visibility Request. You will receive an email and can accept or deny access.
Organizations are fully responsible for the accuracy and ownership of any data uploaded to the platform. By submitting data, they confirm it is truthful and accurate to the best of their knowledge.
Auditors independently assess whether the data is verifiable and meets the required standards. The platform itself is not responsible for the content or accuracy of submitted data.
Are you excited and ready to get started? We will help you on your way. On this landing page you will find all the steps you need to follow in the “Getting started with GSES” section.
In addition to the functionalities that a GSES Pro membership brings, your organization can do much more with the GSES platform, for example, the GSES platform can:
- Enter and validate sustainability information about your products.
- Map the sustainability performance of your supply chain.
- Use other modules on the platform, such as the CSRD module, the event module, and/or the asset module
- Compare suppliers on sustainability performance in the GSES database.
If you want to know more about the above functionalities and possibilities for your organization, book a demo or contact the GSES Support Team at [email protected].

PPP
Promotional Products Professionals

Schiphol
Sustainability data request
As a valued supplier to the Royal Schiphol Group, you’re not just our partner—you’re a driving force in creating the world’s most sustainable airports.
In line with our commitment to sustainability and transparency, we (Royal Schiphol Group) are taking steps to gain insight into the social and environmental impact of our supply chain. We do this using the Global Sustainable Enterprise System (GSES). This platform helps us identify and collaborate with suppliers who share our dedication to responsible and future focused practices.
As our supplier, we ask you to join us in driving positive change in the aviation sector by supplying your sustainability information through the GSES platform. Doing this you supply validated sustainability data to us (and potential other clients), while also gaining insight into your own sustainability performance and goals.

About GSES
The GSES platform is a universal, sector-agnostic solution for measuring, rating and verifying sustainability performance across sustainability themes and scopes.
With a holistic approach, the platform covers sustainability on every front — from your own organization to your supply chain, products, and physical assets — while aiding in compliance with key legislation such as CSRD, EUDR, and DPP, among others.
All data on the GSES platform is verified by independent third parties, such as accredited certification bodies. This verification process is central to our mission: it prevents greenwashing and ensures fair, transparent, and comparable sustainability performance measurement and reporting across organizations.

What does Schiphol ask from its suppliers?
As part of Schiphol’s Supplier Check-In process, suppliers are asked to share verified sustainability data. This request is handled separately through the GSES platform, but is an integral part of the Check-In.
Your organization is therefore asked to:
- Enter your sustainability data into the GSES platform, by completing the applicable GSES assessments.
- Have this data verified through the platform by an independent certifier.
- Obtain a GSES Pro membership, which is required to fulfill this request.
Schiphol distinguishes between two groups of suppliers: Asset and IT/Services suppliers.
A tailored data request has been formulated for each group, ensuring that the information collected is relevant to the type of products or services delivered.

Sustainabuild Collective
Sustainabuild Collective
One industry. One benchmark.
The Sustainabuild Collective (SBC) is a market initiative of actors in the construction market, with the goal of using a uniform way of measuring and communicating sustainability performance across the supply chain. By creating a future-proof, fair, and transparent market, in which all parties can use the same trusted and verified sustainability data, we minimize hassle for everyone involved.
As a manufacturer, supplier, or trader in the construction sector, the SBC (or one of the parties involved) invites you to join this mission and provide your sustainability information via the GSES platform.
“At SBC, we believe collaboration is key to building a minimum-hassle, future-proof and sustainable construction sector. By working together as a sector, we create transparency by means of verified impact data. We look forward to your participation.”Roel Laban, Director of the Sustainabuild Collective

About SBC
Why SBC chooses GSES
In anticipation of a growing demand for sustainability data, the Sustainabuild Collective has been established by building materials wholesalers. By staying ahead of the market, the collective has developed a sector-wide, industry-backed sustainability benchmark to ensure that the entire construction sector in the Benelux reports on sustainability in a uniform manner.
This will prevent suppliers, wholesalers, and contractors from having to respond to a multitude of information requests in the future, along with the associated labor hours and high costs.
The collective has formulated a number of requirements to the sustainability standard to be used. The most important of these are: a transparent and uniform standard; the use of third-party validated data; a user-friendly platform; and cost reduction.
Based on these key requirements, the collective has chosen the GSES platform as its solution. GSES offers a SaaS solution that is already used by many (large) organizations in other markets to collect, validate, and communicate sustainability data at, among other things, product and organization level.

FAQ
The Sustainabuild Collective (SBC) is a cross-sector foundation that aims to streamline information availability and sharing for all market players in the Netherlands and Belgium.
The goal: to promote uniform, reliable, and transparent sustainability data in the construction sector and establish a single standard to communicate with all parties in the value chain. All these parties, from suppliers to costumers, will be asked to join.
The costs your organization bears are dependent on which functionalities your organization uses. If you only want to be able to receive data you only need a membership. If you want to supply data each data entry (i.e. product registration and data validation), this will cost a fixed sum, in addition to the base membership fee. See the price chart below.
SBC sees the NMD (Stichting Nationale Milieudatabase) as a very valuable tool as a Dutch database of LCA data for construction materials, while the GSES Nature Impact Score is a cross-sector sustainability rating that translates product and supply chain impacts on nature into an accessible score. To support data entries in the NMD, SBC and GSES have come to the agreement that data available in the NMD can be uploaded to GSES free of charge for the coming three years.
A further collaboration between SBC and the NMD is being explored.
DPP data can be managed on the GSES platform and is shown on the product scorecard. By connecting your supply chain to the platform, GSES facilitates data entry from suppliers.
Materials included in the scope of EUDR are flagged on the GSES platform. For these materials, you can collect due diligence statements and certificates and gain an overview on your progress in an integrated EUDR dashboard.
Getting Started with GSES
You can start by registering yourself and your organization here.
When you have done so, a team member of GSES will contact you to verify your organization’s needs and provide a concept contract.
After signing the contract, we’ll schedule a workshop for you and your colleagues to help you get started quickly and efficiently.
You can also plan your own (refresher) workshop anytime via the landing page.
What GSES membership your organization needs is based on the functionality your organization will use.
To get a better understanding of the possible functionalities we advise you to book an online GSES-demo trough the SBC landingpage.
Your organization decides who has access to your organization’s data.
Important to note is that you can share product sustainability data without having to disclose the BoM (Bill of Materials) or BoI (Bill of Information) of the product.
Data can be provided on two levels.
Organization:
To gain insights in the sustainability performance of your company you can choose to start by uploading all the certificates your organizations already holds. These will subsequently be validated and give your organization an initial GSES-score. If your organization does not hold any certificates or you want to provide additional information not captured in the certificates you can choose to fill the six pillar-assessments. Each containing ca. 15 questions. Note that to fill these assessments you will have to provide evidence into a Virtual Safe. This evidence will be verified by an external independent auditor and result into a GSES score on the platform.
For more info please see: here
Products:
Product information can be supplied in two ways, either by supplying data from an LCA with the LCA as evidence for the data or by supplying a detailed BoM through the platform.
For more info please see: here
Yes, because ‘not all LCA’s are created equal’ the LCA has to be uploaded on the platform and independently validated.
Furthermore, the GSES Nature Impact Score considers indicators beyond an LCA, which must be declared separately.
The scope of the NIS is Cradle to Gate as standard. If you supply additional data and evidence for the gate to market transport, this scope can be increased and lead to a better score.
For building products, the GSES platform also allows you to add use phase and end-of-life data, which is visualised on the product score card, though not included in the score.
After you have finished uploading the data you can request a data validation through our partner Audit Independer. Audit Independer subsequently assigns the audit to an accredited conformity assessment body (i.e. Kiwa or Control Union) who performs the audit. When your audit is done you will receive a message from GSES.
The audit request process is automated; this means that both Audit Independer and GSES incur immediate costs when you request an audit. If you have made any mistakes in the information you have provided, we will not be able to adjust the audit or to reimburse you.

In the context of compliance, it is highly likely that you are contractually obligated to comply with ABN AMRO’s request. GSES works with various clients, where both mandatory requirements and voluntary requests may apply.
For a first-line validation, the process typically takes 2 business days.
A second-line validation can take up to 10 business days, and a verification generally takes between 10 and 15 business days, provided all information is submitted clearly, timely, and completely.
The EcoVadis certificate relates to a second-line validation, for which additional supporting documents are required. These will be requested after receiving the certificate and report.
ABN AMRO’s CSRD questionnaire and the CO₂ assessment both involve a verification.
-
Do you have an EcoVadis certificate?
Registering and uploading the certificate and audit report typically takes no more than a few minutes. -
ABN AMRO’s CSRD Questionnaire and CO₂ Assessment:
Filling in the questionnaire and uploading the required evidence usually takes no more than one hour per section, provided all necessary context and documentation are readily available.
If you upload and submit additional certificates for validation to potentially improve your GSES ESG Scorecard, a GSES Limited Membership will be required.
To complete additional assessments, a GSES Pro Membership is required. These assessments can also be submitted for verification to potentially enhance your GSES ESG Scorecard.
The same applies to other modules.
